Everyone should have access to clean water.
We’re happy to announce that through our partnership with Barkat Ministry and Hand of Hope: the world missions outreach of Joyce Meyer Ministries, as well as general donations, we have the funding that is needed to establish 10 water handpumps in Chak 324, Pakistan. This poor, rural village has an extreme need for water, but once we’re done, they will have a way to access clean water for their daily needs.
7/23/2019 – Pump #1 is Complete!
Khuram Shahzad is our on-site partner for the small villages surrounding Toba Tek Singh in Pakistan. He works with the community to acquire supplies and is physically there during construction of the pumps, managing the process. He’s also great at documenting the entire process with photos and videos!
8/3/2019 – Pump #2 is Complete!
This well was finished on the birthday of Kayla King (CWOO Co-Founder). In addition to holding the community inauguration for the water handpump, the two orphan groups that Khuram watches over also wanted to celebrate her birthday with her! During the festivities, they played in the water and enjoyed juice and pineapple cake. It was sweet and heartfelt — they even recorded a video of them singing Happy Birthday for her!
8/20/2019 – Pump #3 is Complete!
Construction on our third well in Pakistan is finished! Though it will be available to all villagers in Chak 324 JB, this one it situated outside the home of Parveen Bibi, a widow who has been been struggling since her husband’s death. This well will ease some of her daily burden.
The generosity of our partners is a blessing.
The most effective way to create change is to work together with others. We are enormously thankful to Hand of Hope and Barkat Ministry for everything that they have done to help these villagers.
